CHARMCO- He only played a little over a quarter on Friday at Liberty (Raleigh), but Greenbrier West’s Ben Butler is taking home the West Virginia Daily News offensive player of the game honors anyway.
Butler carried 12 times for 99 yards and a touchdown on the night, and one has to think if he plays the whole game, maybe the outcome would have been different. When Butler has been on the field this year, he’s been electric, but injuries have dealt the sophomore some unfortunate luck so far through the first three games.
