FAIRLEA- In Friday’s victory over Woodrow Wilson, the Greenbrier East Spartans defense was a key cog in the East wheel.
Nate Suttle turned the game in the third quarter with a 100-yard interception return for a touchdown, a school record, and then later, added a second pick to his night that ended any hopes of a Beckley comeback.
For his efforts, Suttle is week two’s West Virginia Daily News defensive player of the game.
