CALDWELL- On Thursday, September 4, the Behavioral Health Center of Rainelle Medical Center held its grand opening at its new location in Harts Run.

There were refreshments, food truck vendors, and a ribbon cutting to commence the opening of a facility that will be nothing but great for the area and the impact on the community.

“The opening of the new facility signifies increased access to behavioral health services, which can lead to improved mental health outcomes, reduced stigma, and greater community awareness and support. It may also foster a sense of hope and trust, encouraging more individuals to seek help,” said the Director of Behavioral Health, Laura Eagle.

The goal of the new facility is simple according to Eagle.

“The primary aim is to provide comprehensive, accessible, and high-quality behavioral health services that improve individuals’ well-being and promote healthier, more resilient communities. It seeks to facilitate healing, recovery, and ongoing support for those in need,” she stated.

From the first day forward, making patients and the community aware of the services RMC can provide is going to be a top priority.

“From day one, focus on community engagement through outreach programs, awareness campaigns, and partnerships. Prioritize transparency, quality of care, and responsiveness to community feedback,” Eagle said.

“Also, highlight success stories and foster trust through consistent, visible presence and active participation in local events,” she added.

Something on the minds of the whole staff is how the company can continue to grow throughout the area with the health and medical needs of citizens growing by the day.

“There is a strong opportunity for growth across the community by expanding outreach, developing partnerships with local organizations, and continuously adapting services to meet evolving needs. As awareness increases, the center can become an integral part of the community’s health infrastructure,” Eagle concluded.

The Behavioral Health Center is now officially open for business. Their hours are 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday through Thursday.

The services offered are as follows:

  • Psychology
  • Counseling
  • Psychiatry
  • Parent-Child Interaction
  • Therapy
