CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WVDN) – The West Virginia Office of Energy (WVOE) today announced that registration is now open for the 2025 Governor’s Energy Summit, taking place November 12-13 at the Charleston Coliseum & Convention Center.
The annual Summit brings together industry leaders, policymakers, educators and community stakeholders to discuss opportunities and challenges in advancing West Virginia’s energy resources, efficiency, and innovation.
“No single sector can tackle the challenges of energy alone,” says Nicholas Preservati, Deputy Secretary of the West Virginia Department of Commerce and Director of the Office of Energy. “The Summit is designed to bring together the brightest minds from industry, government, and education to move forward together.”
This year’s event begins the evening of Wednesday, November 12 with a welcome reception and live concert, offering attendees a relaxed opportunity to network and connect before diving into a subsequent day of expert presentations, panel discussions, and collaborative sessions on Thursday, November 13.
