GREENBRIER COUNTY W.Va. (WVDN) – The Greenbrier County Commission met in regular session last week.
The decision was made to extend open bids on a new roof at the Greenbrier County Day report. There was a meeting with the engineer, and it was explained to the company that submitted the one bid that they needed to resubmit by September 8. The scope of the bid is being changed.
It was approved for the separation of employment for Crystal Byer from the Greenbrier County circuit clerk’s office, effective August 29. The date of hire was December 19, 2023.
The settlement of the opioid litigation was brought up for claims pertaining to Alvogen, Amneal, Apotex, Hikma, Indivor, Mylan, Sun and Zydus as presented by outside counsel.
The reallocation of funds for the White Sulphur Springs EMS generator from the Hazard Mitigation Grant Program was approved. The generator was a dual-fuel generator, and $357 was reallocated for fuel.
An open request was made for Greenbrier County Courthouse window replacement due by September 8. Another open request was made for website development for .gov. The website development is also due by September 8.
Another open request ongoing until September 8 is for a managed service provider for Greenbrier County 911 Emergency Management.
The Greenbrier County Courthouse drainage project is ongoing and is around the back and over the hill of the courthouse.
The next meeting will be on September 9.
