GREENBRIER COUNTY W.Va. (WVDN) – After an incident which resulted in police responding to Eastern Greenbrier Middle School yesterday, Greenbrier County Schools released the following statement:

“This afternoon [Aug. 25], an unexpected situation occurred involving one of our school buses. A minor, who was not an Eastern Greenbrier Middle School student, was escorted from a bus at EGMS by local law enforcement. At no time was the safety of our students or staff compromised. The issue has been addressed and the individual will not be on the bus in the future. We understand that incidents like this can be unsettling, and we appreciate your continued trust and partnership as we work to ensure the safety of every student in our care.”
