LEWISBURG W.Va. (WVDN) – The State Fair of West Virginia is proud to announce UPMC-GoHealth Urgent Care as the presenting sponsor of its Farm to Food Pavilion, an interactive agricultural education experience for children and families. As part of this partnership, the area will be officially named the Farm to Food Pavilion powered by UPMC-GoHealth Urgent Care.
Located on the north end of the fairgrounds, the Farm to Food Pavilion offers hands-on learning opportunities focused on where food comes from, how it’s grown, and the important role agriculture plays in everyday life. Designed for children ages 2 through 10, the pavilion features fun, engaging activities, including a kid-sized farmers market, planting stations, a miniature golf course, and, new this year, a Lego station and live piglets!
“We’re excited to welcome UPMC-GoHealth Urgent Care as the official sponsor of the Farm to Food Pavilion,” said Kelly Collins, CEO of the State Fair of West Virginia. “This partnership not only helps us expand our agricultural education offerings but also allows families with small children to have an area to get out of the sun, relax and learn about agriculture!”
