MORGANTOWN- West Virginia star running back Jahiem White keeps getting recognized in the preseason after two good seasons so far for the Mountaineers.
White was recently named a Doak Walker Award Watch List candidate given annually to the nation’s top running back.
In his first two seasons, the junior has rushed for 1,687 yards on 258 carries and has averaged 6.5 yards per carry for his career. White has also caught 24 passes for an additional 247 yards and has scored a total of 14 touchdowns.
In 2025, if he can remain healthy, White is expected to completely break onto the scene in new head coach Rich Rodriguez’s high temp, spread offense.
