MORGANTOWN- West Virginia wide receiver Cam Vaughn, a Jacksonville State transfer who followed Rich Rodriguez to Morgantown, was spotted on the Biletnikoff Award Watch List this week.

The award is given to the best receiver in college football.

Vaughn, just a sophomore, had 48 catches for 803 yards and five touchdowns as a freshman last year for the Gamecocks. In his season finale’ last season in Jax State’s bowl game, Vaughn hauled in nine receptions for 183 yards and a TD.

He is labeled as an explosive playmaker and will be one of the Mountaineers’ biggest offensive weapons this season.
