Grammy Award-winning singer Lauren Daigle will perform on the grandstand stage at the State Fair of West Virginia this summer, bringing her chart-topping hits and soulful voice to Lewisburg.

Fair organizers announced that Daigle is scheduled to perform Thursday, Aug. 14, at 8 p.m. Tickets are on sale now, with prices ranging from $70 for grandstand seating to $85 for premium track spots near the stage. All concert tickets include fair gate admission.

Daigle, 33, is one of contemporary Christian music’s biggest stars, known for her crossover success with mainstream audiences. Born in Lake Charles, Louisiana, and raised in Lafayette, she was surrounded by the rich musical culture of the region. After overcoming a serious illness as a teenager, she pursued vocal training and began writing songs that blended pop, gospel and roots influences.

Her 2015 debut album, “How Can It Be”, went platinum and produced hits like “Trust in You” and “O’Lord.” Her follow-up, “Look Up Child”, debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 in 2018

and included her breakout single “You Say,” which topped Billboard’s Hot Christian Songs chart for a record-breaking 132 weeks.

In 2023, Daigle released her self-titled album, marking her full move into the pop world with songs like “Thank God I Do” and “Be Okay.” She has earned two Grammy Awards, multiple Billboard and American Music Awards and continues to draw praise for her powerhouse vocals and uplifting performances.

Known for her warm stage presence and emotional delivery, Daigle’s live shows have been described as a blend of a pop concert and revival music. Fair officials expect a strong turnout for the show, which is part of a week of headline acts and family-friendly events in Greenbrier County.
