LEWISBURG W.Va. (WVDN) – Free community event to bring together dozens of organizations, businesses to offer health and wellness resources and information for seniors and their families
WHAT: Village Caregiving (VCG), a mission-driven home care agency, will host its first-ever Seniors Day Out, a free community event designed to bring together dozens of organizations and businesses across Greenbrier County and other surrounding counties to offer a range of health and wellness information, resources and services for area seniors and their families. Organized by the VCG Lewisburg office, with space generously donated by the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine, the free event features:
- Bingo during the entire event
- Door prizes and games
- Snacks and refreshments
- Free hearing and vision screenings
Founded in 2013, VCG offers affordable, compassionate non-medical care and assistance with daily needs, such as help with personal hygiene, light housework, meal prep and companionship. Including Lewisburg, VCG has 10 offices throughout the Mountain State and more than 60 locations across 22 states across the U.S. with more than 3,300 caregivers serving more than 5,500 clients.
