WILLIAMSBURG W.Va. (WVDN) – The Williamsburg Museum Auction is scheduled for Saturday, Aug. 2, from 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
This fun auction is held annually to raise money for the Williamsburg Museum and to give community members a chance to exchange items of value within the community.
The items are donated, and the sale is final, often an incredible deal, so the museum makes a little money, the buyers are thrilled, and the purchases go on to a new home to spread usefulness and beauty in the community.
Tools, home décor, curiosities, and furniture are among this year’s offerings. More items may be donated just by bringing them to the museum prior to the Auction.
The hot dog concession will also be open for a donation, with chili and slaw and all the condiments. Ice cream and cookies are the dessert choices and a variety of cold drinks are included.
The museum is also open to free tours during fundraisers, so come on down, bring the family, and have fun! Located on Williamsburg Rd. just ¼ mile from Williamsburg Center in Greenbrier County.
