GREENBRIER COUNTY W.Va. (WVDN) – The Master Gardener’s Demonstration Garden is a time-honored and beloved fixture at the State Fair of West Virginia. The Demonstration Garden debuted over 20 years ago and has seen numerous changes and expansions over the years. This year, the garden features a raised bed vegetable garden, an espalier orchard, a Children’s Garden, and a Perennial and Herb Garden. This year, for the first time, the Master Gardeners will be featuring clinics throughout the Fair. These clinics will cover topics such as propagation, pruning, deadheading, seed collecting, and repotting. Stop by the Demonstration Garden August 7-16 and catch Master Gardeners in action tending to the garden, answering your questions, and teaching a free clinic.
