WILLIAMSBURG W.Va. (WVDN) – The renowned Enchanted Evening Steak Dinner at Williamsburg Museum is Friday, July 18, from 4-8 p.m.
Every year, the museum staff serves up a remarkable dinner of tenderized fried and gravy-loaded steak with homemade mashed potatoes, homemade rolls, home-canned green beans, homemade cobblers and store-bought ice cream.
This year’s dinner will once again be served during July, when there are longer days and daylight travel for attendees following the dinner. The weather is expected to be summer-like. Tables will be set on both front and back porches as well as inside the museum for eating and long visits with neighbors and friends.
The cost of the meal is set at $12 for adults and $6 for kids under six years old. The museum is located in Williamsburg, Greenbrier County, on Williamsburg Road, about one-quarter mile from the center of town. Coming from Frankford the drive is about 8 miles.
