LEWISBURG W.Va. (WVDN) – The Greenbrier Humane Society recently announced that they were in urgent need of bleach for their laundry. Their Facebook post read, “Bleach is essential for keeping our animals’ bedding, towels, and laundry sanitized and safe.” Greenbrier Real Estate Service heard their plea for bleach and for many other highly requested items, as the shelter is near full capacity. “We saw the post and knew we had to do something,” said a representative from Greenbrier Real Estate Service. “The Greenbrier Humane Society is a vital part of our community.” Greenbrier Real Estate Service and many other local businesses have donated items.

Greenbrier Real Estate Service hopes that by using their many agents, colleagues and friends, they can gather some much-needed supplies. Greenbrier Real Estate Service also invites other businesses to join the drive.

The public is invited to drop off these supplies at Greenbrier Real Estate Service’s office located at 1047 Washington Street E., Lewisburg, between 9 a.m.-5 p.m., Monday through Friday, and to participate in what they are calling “Operation Pawssible” until July 31. They are requesting any items on the Greenbrier Humane Society’s wish list. Any contributions are greatly appreciated. Some items can be purchased for as little as $3.

These needed supplies will be delivered to the Greenbrier Humane Society during the first week of August.
