PHILADELPHIA, PA- Aiden Denning spent most of his weekend in the city of brotherly love when the upcoming Greenbrier East freshman track runner competed in the New Balance track nationals in Philadelphia.
Denning finished late Saturday afternoon and after competing with some of the country’s best in his age group, grew even more confidence in his abilities as he moves to the high school ranks.
On Thursday, Denning ran the 100m hurdles and placed fourth with a time of 14.53. On Friday, Denning lined up for the long jump and cracked another top 10 finish placing eighth with a distance of 19’ 8.75.”
A personal record time of 23.91, a third-place finish in his heat, and a 46th place finish out of 126 participants completed the day and tournament on Saturday for Denning.
Denning performed extremely well and will add to an already talented track and field team next season at Greenbrier East.
