LEWISBURG W.Va. (WVDN) – Carnegie Hall continues the 2025 Ivy Terrace Concert Series Thursday, June 26, at 6:30 p.m. with local band Steel Pterodactyl. Sponsored by City National Bank, the concert takes place outside on Carnegie Hall’s Ivy Terrace as attendees watch from the expansive lawn in front of New River Community and Technical College. Concertgoers are encouraged to bring a lawn chair or blanket and pack a picnic to enjoy live music. All Ivy Terrace concerts are free, open to the public, and alcohol free.

Steel Pterodactyl is an electrifying fusion of rock, reggae, and jam-band energy, and a powerhouse group that has been captivating audiences across West Virginia and beyond since 1992. Known for their dynamic live performances, the band blends soulful melodies, intricate rhythms, and a vibrant horn section to create a sound that is both nostalgic and refreshingly modern. Whether playing at Carnegie Hall’s Ivy Terrace Concert Series or sharing the stage with legendary acts, Steel Pterodactyl delivers an unforgettable musical experience that keeps fans coming back for more. Don’t miss the chance to witness their high-energy grooves and genre-bending artistry live!
