Richard Rutherford
Richard Rutherford, 71, of Danese, WV, passed away Tuesday, May 13, 2025, at the University of Virginia Medical Center in Charlottesville, VA.
Richard was born June 8, 1953, in Havre de Grace, MD.
Richard was a good friend and neighbor. He will be missed by family and friends.
Richard was preceded in death by his parents, George C. Rutherford and Hannah Jones Rutherford of Maryland. He was also preceded in death by four brothers, George C. Rutherford, Jr., Daniel “Tom” Rutherford, Willard “Alton” Rutherford, and Robert Rutherford, all of Maryland; and two sisters, Agnes Cochran and Catherine Fowler, both of Maryland.
He leaves behind four sisters, Margaret Jobe of Marion, VA, Jane Brown and Helen Roten both of Darlington, MD, and Lola Mullins of Trout, WV; one brother, David Rutherford of Maryland; and many nieces and nephews.
At Richard’s request, he was cremated.
