LEWISBURG- The JV and variety squads for the EG Rockies recently wrapped up their 2025 campaigns and both teams had outstanding seasons.
The junior varsity team finished the season with a 13-3 record and went a perfect 3-0 in the postseason to capture the Top Prospects Middle School League championship. They were the no. 2 seed when tournament play began and beat Trap Hill 10-3, Western Greenbrier in the semifinals 6-5, and capped the title with a thrilling victory over Shady Spring, 5-4.
