Jane Lew, W.Va. – On June 10, 2025, at approximately 4:00 pm, Corporal George Jones responded to a two-vehicle wreck on Interstate 79 at near the 101-mile marker southbound. Upon arrival, Cpl. Jones observed heavy damage to a car, and it appeared the car had rear ended a tractor trailer as the truck was traveling up a hill. The driver of the car, Douglas Skaff, 48, of South Charleston, WV, died on scene. WVSP Crash Reconstruction Team was notified.
