GREENBRIER COUNTY W.Va. (WVDN) – I’m excited to announce that The West Virginia Daily News has once again met our annual goal for the 2025 Humane Society item drive. WVDN staff delivered the items collected, which were generously donated by our readers, to the Humane Society on Wednesday, June 4.
There is still a need for more donations. Donating to the Humane Society is a way to make a direct and positive impact on the lives of homeless or displaced animals in need. Your contributions help provide essential care for these vulnerable animals, ultimately giving them a chance for a better future. If you would like to donate, you can drop off your donations at the animal shelter located on Holliday Lane in Lewisburg. I would personally like to thank all of you for your generous donations again this year.
