SOUTH CHARLESTON- After the conclusion of the Class A state softball tournament that saw Pendleton Co. hoist the final trophy, the Greenbrier West Lady Cavaliers had two players named to the all-tournament team after stellar 3-game performances.

Junior Brilee Redden and senior Maddie Fields had excellent tournaments, and both got the nod for the prestigious honor.

In the three games, Redden hit .583 with a triple and seven runs scored. Fields also hit .583, scored four runs, had five RBIs, two triples, and a double.

Fields finished her Cavs career and will suit up on the softball field for Potomac State next season.

Redden will return to lead a Greenbrier West team that returns some talent and could challenge for a state berth again next year.
