LEWISBURG W.Va. (WVDN) – The Rotary Club of Lewisburg and Rotary International Foundation extended a $3,000 grant to Wellspring of Greenbrier, Inc. in 2025. This grant seeks to address sanitation and hygiene for unhoused, low-income, and marginalized citizens in southern West Virginia. With this assistance, Wellspring has purchased two sets of commercial-grade washers and dryers from Martin & Jones in Ronceverte for its planned, new Day Haven facility in Rainelle. The Day Haven provides free hygiene and cleaning products, hot coffee, hot showers, WIFI and TV, and other resources for marginalized Appalachians in the region, including complimentary laundry services to eligible individuals. Wellspring’s Day Haven aims to instill hope and meet the health needs of marginalized people in the Greenbrier and Meadow River Valleys. The Rotary Club of Lewisburg is honored to support this mission.
