LEWISBURG W.Va. (WVDN) – Carnegie Hall is thrilled to present the 2025 Ivy Terrace Outdoor Concert Series, a beloved summer tradition bringing live music to the heart of Lewisburg. The free concert series is held every second and fourth Thursday of June, July, and August, from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m., invites music lovers to enjoy an evening of spectacular performances under the open sky.
The Series, sponsored by City National Bank, features musical groups performing outside on Carnegie Hall’s Ivy Terrace as attendees watch from the expansive lawn in front of New River Community and Technical College. Concertgoers are encouraged to bring a lawn chair or blanket and pack a picnic to fully savor the experience. The Ivy Terrace series remains a family-friendly, alcohol-free event, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all ages.
This year’s lineup features an exciting mix of musical genres, showcasing talented artists from across the region:
- June 12: WV Brass Quintet – A dynamic ensemble delivering classic brass brilliance.
- June 26: Steel Pterodactyl – High-energy funk and fusion that will get audiences moving.
- July 10: Greenbrier Grass – Bluegrass melodies that celebrate West Virginia’s rich musical heritage.
- July 24: Windfall – A lively mix of Americana, folk, and original compositions.
- August 14: Group Therapy – Feel-good music that blends rock, soul, and rhythm with infectious energy.
- August 28: WV Jazz Orchestra – A powerful jazz ensemble closing the series on a high note.
