BEAVER, W.Va. (WVDN) — New River Community and Technical College honored its Phlebotomy students during a pinning ceremony that was held on Friday, May 16, 2025, celebrating the dedication, discipline, and academic success of those completing the program.
The ceremony was attended by faculty, staff, family members, and friends, who gathered to recognize the students’ achievements and their commitment to entering the healthcare field. The pinning symbolizes both the completion of the program and the students’ readiness to serve with skill, compassion, and professionalism.
New River CTC’s Phlebotomy program a one-semester program designed to prepare students for entry-level phlebotomy technician positions. It prepares students to successfully complete the national phlebotomy exam and receive the technical certificate.
New River CTC congratulates each of the students recognized at the ceremony and looks forward to seeing the impact they will make in the healthcare community.
