Individually, Whited also broke the 200m record and ran it in a time of 25.24 and won the 100m and 800. She and Neena McClintic– won the 800m, 1600m, and 3200m– shared high points honors as both scored 32.5 on the day.

Avery Thompson picked up a first-place finish in the 300m hurdles, Mia Rowan was second in the high jump, and Hailey Ervin’s fourth-place long jump was an impressive showing.

The East boys logged 41.5 points and had good days from Grant Burdette (third in shot put, second in discus), Jackson Carter (fourth in 3200m), and Nate Suttle (fourth in 200m). Their 4×100 relay team also finished third.
