PRINCETON, W.Va. (WVDN) — New River Community and Technical College will host a Real Estate Career Night on Monday, May 20, 2025, at their Mercer County Campus located at 304 New Hope Road in Princeton. The event is designed for individuals interested in exploring a career in real estate and learning more about the licensing process in West Virginia.
Led by the college’s Real Estate Instructor, Joyce Barker, this engaging session will provide insights into the real estate profession, the steps to becoming a licensed agent, and the training program available through New River CTC. Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions, hear real-world experiences, and discover whether real estate is the right path for them.
New River CTC will offer its next 90-hour West Virginia Real Estate Pre-License Course beginning August 18, 2025, at the Mercer County Campus. This course prepares students to meet the educational requirements to sit for the West Virginia Real Estate Licensing Exam and is an excellent next step for those ready to begin their journey in the industry.
