CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WVDN) – The West Virginia Grant Resource Centers are pleased to announce the launch of biweekly Outreach Hours in collaboration with the WV One Stop Business Center, an initiative of the WV Secretary of State’s office. Each month, the Grant Centers team will host one in-person session at the WV One Stop Business Center in Charleston and one virtual session to aid state businesses, nonprofits, communities, and other eligible entities with their grant-related inquiries.
Developed in collaboration with the WV One Stop Business Center and the WV Small Business Development Center (WV SBDC), this initiative aims to make key business and nonprofit resources available and accessible to more West Virginians, ensuring they have the support necessary to achieve their goals. Through Outreach Hours, the Grant Centers will unite and lend our specialized, complementary support to the WV One Stop Business Center’s comprehensive collection of resources, tools, and expertise.

Entities interested in scheduling a Virtual Outreach Hours session may submit an application using the intake form. Walk-in Outreach Hours event attendees will be accommodated pending availability at the WV One Stop Business Center, located at 13 Kanawha Blvd W #201, Charleston, West Virginia.
The Grant Centers are a joint partnership between Marshall University and West Virginia University that provide free grant writing and training support to West Virginia communities and other eligible applicants as they compete for local, state, federal, and private funding opportunities. This project is funded by the Appalachian Regional Commission (ARC) and the WV Legislature. To date, the Grant Centers have assisted West Virginians with securing nearly $44 million to support their economic, community, and workforce development projects.
