Charleston, W.Va. (WVDN) – On May 7, 2025, at approximately 4:47 pm Cpl. S. J. Borsman responded to a road rage incident and shots fired call occurring on Interstate 77 along mile marker 86 Southbound in Kanawha County. Cpl. S. J. Borsman made contact with the suspect, Scott Walker, 22, of Winifrede, WV, who called Metro and turned himself in. During the course of the investigation, it was determined that Mr. Walker had fired 2 shots from his vehicle with a 9 mm handgun at a tractor trailer truck, which was operated by the victim, Singh Gurpreet, 33, of Hendricks, IN. Both rounds struck near the driver’s side door of the tractor trailer. Mr. Walker surrender the handgun to Cpl S. J. Borsman for evidence. Cpl S. J. Borsman located two shell casings and one spent round which was taken for evidence. Mr. Walker was placed under arrest and charged with two counts of Wanton Endangerment and one count of Brandishing.
