HUNTINGTON W.Va. (WVDN) – On Monday, April 21, 2025, Trooper C.L. Lowery was contacted by the Putnam County Sheriff Department in reference to a fugitive from justice, who was believed to be hiding out in Huntington. Subsequently, Trooper Lowery observed the suspect being Royal Sean Vance, 48, of Tampa, Florida, in the 1800 block of 9th Avenue, which led to an extensive foot pursuit and search of the area. The suspect was eventually captured by Troopers and taken into custody without incident. The suspect was wanted for felony charges in several states, to include being a fugitive from justice out of Florida.
