LEWISBURG W.Va. (WVDN) – Carnegie Hall teaching artist Lynda Weischowsky returns to Carnegie Hall with a Stained-Glass 3D Hanging Basket workshop on Saturday, April 26, from 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m.

In this beginner friendly “spring is coming” theme, students will create an elegant hanging basket of ivy in glass. Using pre-cut pieces of glass, this project is constructed in a layered fashion, using wire wrapping and decorative soldering. These beautiful vines are very forgiving to work with and the results are very lifelike-but no watering required. While no glass cutting skills are needed, we will be assembling the basket with lead came. Students are encouraged to bring a work apron or shirt.

Registration is $95/members and $105/nonmembers, with automatic scholarships for students 18 years of age and under that reduce the class registration fee to only $25. To register or for a complete list of classes and workshops visit carnegiehallwv.org/classes-and-workshops or pick up a Classes & Workshops brochure at 611 Church Street, Lewisburg, West Virginia.

Carnegie Hall WV is a member-driven nonprofit organization supported by individual contributions, grants, and fundraising efforts such as TOOT and The Carnegie Hall Gala. The Hall is located at 611 Church Street, Lewisburg, WV.  For more information, please call 304.645.7917 or visit www.carnegiehallwv.org.
