Lewisburg, W.Va. (WVDN) – Carnegie Hall continues it’s 2025 Spring Classes & Workshops Series with a weaving class taught by Barbara Volk. This unique learning opportunity is taught in small group settings in Carnegie’s Potterfield Weaving Studio. The Beaded Bracelet Weaving on a Loom workshop takes place on Saturday, April 26, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
In this class, students will learn the basic elements of loom woven beadwork from start to finish as they create a beautiful bracelet from a wide selection of colorful glass beads. Each student will use graph paper and simple to learn skills to design and then create a one of kind beaded bracelet. At the end of the day, students will leave with a quality piece of jewelry and the confidence to continue beaded weaving on their own.
Registration is $45/members and $55/nonmembers, with automatic youth scholarships that reduce registration fee to only $15.
