LEWISBURG W.Va. (WVDN) – Supporters of Greenbrier Valley local farmers, veterans and schools will be holding a peaceful rally, April 5, at the Green Space in Lewisburg, from noon to 1 p.m. Representatives from these groups will make brief remarks regarding the challenges each is facing today. “Hands Off” signs will be available to support farmers, veterans’ benefits, USPS, schools, Social Security, and Medicaid.
Participants are invited to make their own signs in support of these groups. Following the speeches, those interested will walk on a short route through parts of Lewisburg. This event is part of rallies being held all over the country on April 5. Everyone is invited to participate. Bring a friend and spread the word. (Note: Animals are not allowed in the Green Space)
