Happening throughout the entire month of April, this drive is a fantastic opportunity for the community to come together and make a difference in the lives of the animals that rely on the shelter’s care.
The Greenbrier Humane Society works tirelessly to provide shelter, food and love to countless animals in need. They do incredible work, but they need our help to continue their mission.
They’ve shared a list of items that are crucial for their daily operations, and we’re asking you to consider donating if you can. Every contribution, no matter how small, will make a significant impact.

These are everyday items that can make a huge difference in the lives of these animals. From keeping their environment clean to providing them with food and comfort, your donations will directly support their well-being.
Community Liaison Kirstin Cole emphasizes the vital role community support plays. “As a community, we hold the power to transform lives. Donating to the Greenbrier Humane Society isn’t just about supporting animals; it’s about enriching the very fabric of our community. Every contribution helps provide shelter, medical care, and a second chance for countless animals in need. By giving, you’re investing in a future where compassion and care thrive, creating a lasting impact on both our furry friends and the families they touch. We thank you all for your generosity and support. Our work to save them all is a strong depiction of the community’s dedicated support.”
Please consider dropping off your donations at The West Virginia Daily News office located at 188 Foster Street, Monday through Thursday, from 8:30 a.m.-4 p.m. throughout April. Let’s show the Greenbrier Humane Society how much our community cares.
Our goal is to collect 500 items for Greenbrier Human by April 30; every donation helps!
Thank you for your generosity and support. Together, we can make a positive impact on the lives of these deserving animals.
