LOGAN, W.Va. — On Tuesday, March 25, 2025, at approximately 6:27 a.m., Cpl. Z.S. Holden and Senior Trooper Z.K. Bragg responded to assist the West Virginia Fire Marshal’s Office in investigating a fire-related fatality on Yuma Camp Road in the Logan community.
The investigation revealed that Vicki Lynn Dengler, 67, of Logan, was found unconscious and unresponsive, lying on the floor at the rear of the residence. Dengler was transported by ambulance to Logan Regional Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead.
An autopsy will be conducted at the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Charleston. This investigation is ongoing.
