RONCEVERTE W.Va. (WVDN) – Firefighters quickly contained a small structure fire on Rockland Road early this morning, preventing it from spreading to nearby buildings.
According to local fire officials, crews responded to the blaze at approximately 6:30 a.m. after receiving multiple calls from residents reporting smoke and flames. Upon arrival, firefighters found a structure engulfed in flames. The fire was brought under control within 30 minutes.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation, though officials have not ruled out electrical issues as a possible factor. Fire investigators were on the scene assessing damage and collecting evidence.
Residents in the area were advised to stay clear while emergency crews worked. Traffic on Rockland Road was briefly affected but has since returned to normal.
