LINCOLN COUNTY W.Va. (WVDN) – One person tragically lost their life in a recent ATV accident in Lincoln County. The West Virginia State Police released the following information:
“On Tuesday, February 25, 2025, TPR J. D. Reedy, Sgt. D. J. Miller and Sgt. G. H. Ellis II, responded to the Sumerco area of Lincoln County for an ATV fatality. The victim, Mr. Arthur McCormick (75-year-old male from Sumerco, WV) rolled an ATV in a wooded area on private property. Mr McCormick was discovered by a family member who was assisting him with cutting firewood at the time of the incident.”
