LEWISBURG W.Va. (WVDN) – Family Refuge Center (FRC) is delighted to announce its 3rd annual Tea Party event in celebration of International Women’s Day. This community event will take place on March 7, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the main office in Lewisburg. This event aims to bring people together, foster a sense of belonging, as well as inspire and empower women in our community.
International Women’s Day is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women. Family Refuge Center is proud to host this celebration to allow attendees to come together to recognize and celebrate the remarkable women who lead and inspire. Additionally, attendees will enjoy a selection of teas and light refreshments.
Family Refuge Center invites community members, local businesses, and organizations to join in this celebration and show their support for women in leadership. “We are thrilled to host this event as a part of International Women’s Day,” said Stephanie Moore, Executive Director of the Family Refuge Center. “It’s a wonderful opportunity to acknowledge the incredible accomplishments of women in leadership in our community and to reflect on the progress they have made.”
