BLUEFIELD W.Va. (WVDN) — New River Community and Technical College is excited to offer a no-cost Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) training program this spring at New River CTC’s Raleigh Street Location in Bluefield, West Virginia. This program provides a valuable opportunity for individuals interested in starting a healthcare career, offering job stability and growth potential.
The next CNA class will run from March 13 to April 30, 2025. Classes will be held on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM, and on Fridays from 8:00 AM to 2:30 PM (with the possibility of extending to 3:30 PM if needed to meet required hours). New River CTC’s Raleigh Street Location is located at 534 Raleigh Street, Bluefield, WV. The final three weeks of the program will include clinical rotations at Princeton Healthcare, allowing students to gain hands-on experience in a real healthcare setting.
This training program is completely free, but space is limited, and pre-registration is required. Early registration is encouraged to secure a spot.
