FAIRLEA W.Va. (WVDN) – The GVAC Sea Dragons swim team competed in the TYR Top 10 Invite in Bridgeport, on Feb. 22 and 23. All of the swimmers had personal best times in multiple events, resulting in a team medal count of 4 gold, 11 silver, and 10 bronze. Mary Taylor was the 2nd highest point scorer in her age group, bringing home two gold and three silver medals. Twenty-six new team records were set. The swimmers are now preparing for the West Virginia Short Course State Championship meet, which will be held at Mylan Park in Morgantown March 14-16. The Sea Dragons are making quite a big splash in the competitive swimming community and having fun doing it.
