NOTICE OF FILING AND HEARING
On December 11, 2024, Allegheny Disposal, LLC (“Allegheny”) filed an Application with the Commission for a contract carrier permit to operate as a contract carrier by motor vehicle in the transportation of trash for the Anthony Correction Center and Jail in Greenbrier County, West Virginia. Anyone desiring to protest or object to the Application must do so, in writing, within ten (10) days of the date of publication of this Notice. All protests may be filed online through the Commission’s website using the “Submit a Comment” link or may be mailed to the Executive Secretary, Public Service Commission of West Virginia, P. O. Box 812, 201 Brooks St., Charleston, West Virginia 25323, or hand-delivered to the Public Service Commission.
The Commission has scheduled an evidentiary hearing on the Application for March 26, 2025, at 10:00 a.m., at the White Sulphur Springs City Hall, Council Chambers, 34 West Main Street, White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia. If no protests are received in this matter, the Commission may waive formal hearing.
