CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WVDN) – Governor Patrick Morrisey has selected Ian Masters to fill the vacancy left in the 91st House District.
Masters is a lawyer from Gerrardstown with an extensive legal background and experience drafting and tracking legislation. He is the current President of the West Virginia Citizens Defense League (WVCDL) and has been involved with the organization since 2015.
“Ian’s experience leading the WVCDL makes him exceptionally prepared to step in and represent the people of the 91st District. I’m confident he’ll bring experienced conservative leadership and be an effective legislator for southern Berkeley County,” said Governor Morrisey.
Masters calls House District 91 his “forever home” where his four children will be growing up. He received an undergraduate degree and a Juris Doctor from West Virginia University and has been a member of the West Virginia State Bar since 2011.
