BEAVER, W.Va. (WVDN) — New River Community and Technical College recently celebrated the achievements of its Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) program completers during a special pinning ceremony held on Jan. 17.
This meaningful event honored the dedication and perseverance of these individuals as they completed the CNA program, a vital step toward entering the healthcare workforce. The pinning tradition served as a recognition of their commitment to compassionate patient care and their readiness to support communities in need.
“This ceremony is a moment to reflect on the hard work and dedication our CNA students have shown,” said Steve Lacek, Interim Vice President of Academic and Student Affairs. “Their passion for providing quality care and making a difference in the lives of others is truly inspiring.”
Surrounded by family, friends, and supporters, the students were celebrated for their accomplishments and encouraged as they begin their careers in healthcare.
