Charleston, W.Va. (WVDN) – ZMM Architects and Engineers, the region’s premier architectural and engineering firm serving West Virginia, Virginia, and Ohio, is pleased to announce an important organizational shift to a senior leadership model. This move, which was effective January 1, 2025, marks a significant evolution in the firm’s leadership structure, transitioning from a traditional board of directors to an expanded senior leadership team focused on driving strategic growth.

“We are proud of the strong leadership we have built at ZMM, and these changes will position us to continue delivering innovative, high-quality projects to our clients,” said Adam Krason, owner, principal, and architect for ZMM. “We look forward to further growth and success and are confident that this new leadership structure will drive that success forward.”

The new model is designed to enhance communication, improve operational efficiency, and support ZMM’s continued expansion. This will continue to address the evolving needs of the business and guide the firm through its next phase of growth. The new senior leadership model has broad representation from all constituencies within the organization to assist in making more operationally focused decisions and to improve collaboration across the firm.

ZMM’s ownership remains the same, with Bob Doeffinger, David Ferguson, and Adam Krason at the helm. The senior leadership team will provide strategic direction and management of the firm and support continued growth of ZMM and its operations.

The senior leadership team includes Randy Jones, Ben Ashley, Mandy Bowles, Chris Campbell, Carly Chapman, James Lowry, Rodney Pauley, Michael Phillips, John Pruett, Bill Shelton, Nathaniel Spencer, and Jen Wood.

As part of the transition, Randy Jones will serve as the director of Virginia operations, in addition to his duties as principal and architect. Mandy Bowles was promoted from controller to chief financial officer (CFO) and Jen Wood was promoted from director of marketing and communications to chief marketing officer (CMO).
