Washington, D.C. (WVDN) – Congresswoman Carol Miller (R-WV) released a statement on being sworn in to the House of Representatives for her fourth term in Congress.
“I am honored to have represented southern West Virginia for the past six years, and I’m excited to continue to serve my constituents in the House of Representatives. In November, the American people overwhelmingly voted for the conservative agenda, and it is a great responsibility to ensure it comes to fruition. With Donald Trump as President and Republican majorities in the House of Representatives and the Senate, we will secure the southern border, lower taxes, and unleash American energy production. As a member of the Ways and Means Committee, I am focused on reauthorizing the Trump Tax Cuts which spurred historic economic growth and lowered costs for every American. I will also continue my work ensuring access to quality health care for those who live in rural areas. As the co-chair of the Energy Export Caucus, I will continue to advocate for all-of-the-above American energy production. Doing so will allow us to bring down domestic energy costs while exporting energy to our allies, which bolsters our national security. I look forward to working with my colleagues to ensure the success of the America first agenda,” said Congresswoman Miller.
