RONCEVERTE W.Va. (WVDN) – Rudy Elvis was the star entertainment at the Greenbrier County Committee on Aging in December. He performed many popular Christmas songs and sang songs recorded by Elvis Presley. He had the audience in his hands, even before Rudy Elvis gave the ladies a signed scarf plus some teddy bears. The audience also received a picture autographed by him. The eastern senior site is located at 110 Taylor Lane, Ronceverte, and is open Monday through Friday 10 a.m.-12:30 p.m. with hot lunch served at 11.
All seniors at least 60 years old are encouraged to come for a hot meal and fellowship. Several times during the month there are other entertainers, guest speakers, bingo crafts and puzzles to enjoy.
Scheduled in January are Gary Meadows, Randy Smith, Music Sharers, John Wyatt, Dreama Cyrus with Martha Elmore and Eric Mercer. Super Bingo is scheduled for Jan. 14 with Jeff Austin of Red Oak Insurance.
