GREENBRIER COUNTY W.Va. (WVDN) – Do you like gardening? Do you want to give back to the community? Do you want to sharpen your skills and learn more? Become a Master Gardener! Master Gardeners are volunteers who are trained in research-based small-scale food production, horticulture and gardening through a training course.
The Greenbrier Valley Master Gardener Program announces its 2025 training sessions. The classes begin Jan. 9 and continue through May 15. A combination of in-person and online, there will be a total of 18 horticultural classes and a complete schedule will be available in January 2025. A wide variety of topics are included such as plant propagation, wildlife management and native plants.
The program helps residents better understand horticultural and environmental issues through community engagement in gardening and beautification projects at schools, parks, public institutions, community organizations and locations throughout Greenbrier County.
