BOONE COUNTY W.Va. (WVDN) – A Boone County man has been arrested following an investigation into the exchange of nude photos with minors. The West Virginia State Police released the following information:
“On Friday, December 13, 2024, members of the West Virginia State Police Madison Detachment arrested Eric F. Maloskey of Bloomingrose, WV after investigating a complaint that Maloskey had sent and/or received nude photographs with juveniles via a social media platform. Eric Maloskey is employed by the Boone County Board of Education as an Auxiliary Coach at Sherman High School. He is charged with two counts of Distribution of Obscene Material to a Minor and one count of Use of Obscene Matter with intent to Seduce a Minor. Eric Maloskey was transported to Southwestern Regional Jail.”
Maloskey is being held in South Western Regional Jail on a $100,000 bond.
