RAINELLE W.Va. (WVDN) – God’s Way Home, a nonprofit recovery home for men located in Rainelle, has been growing since they opened the doors in June 2021.
“We went from seven guys in the beginning to 23,” said Richard Green, Assistant Program Director. “Our future goals are to continue what we are doing, continue to grow and add more beds. Continue to help more men who are struggling with substance abuse.”
They are located at 477 Main Street Rainelle. God’s Way Home, Inc. is a 501C3 organization and is a drug and alcohol recovery home. They help men restructure their lives with short-term treatment, jobs and community volunteer work while building a strong relationship with Jesus.
The men that come to GWH, usually come only with the shirt on their backs. They are in need of men’s clothing including shirts, pants, jackets, winter hats, socks, new underwear, shoes and winter gloves in sizes Large-4XL. They also need men’s hygiene items such as shampoo, soap, razors, shaving cream, toothbrushes, toothpaste and deodorant. Other needed items are pillows, pillowcases, twin-size sheets and blankets, towels, washcloths, paper towels, toilet paper, coffee, creamer and sugar.
The clothing, towels and bedding items can be gently used. Donating can make a profound impact on those seeking a fresh start. Your support not only provides essential resources but also fosters hope during a season that emphasizes compassion and giving.
This holiday season let’s embrace the spirit of giving back. If you would like to donate items they can be dropped off at God’s Way Home 477 Main St. Rainelle. If you’re interested in more information on God’s Way Home you can contact Clinton Walker the Program Director, Richard Green Assistant Program Director or Andrew Bailes Executive Director at 443-482-4173 or 304-646-6655.
