LEWISBURG W.Va. (WVDN) – As we celebrate Thanksgiving, it’s a wonderful opportunity to pause and appreciate the many blessings in our lives. The West Virginia Daily News wants to take this moment to express our deepest gratitude to our amazing community. Your continued support as readers, advertisers and friends has been invaluable to us.

As we celebrate this holiday season, let us remember the importance of togetherness. In these challenging times, we must stand united. As we approach the Thanksgiving and Christmas shopping season, let’s remember the children in need.

We are excited to partner with the Children’s Home Society to bring joy to local kids this holiday season. While you’re out shopping for Thanksgiving, the holidays and Black Friday, please consider picking up a toy for these children. Your generosity can truly make a difference!

Some of the most requested items include Legos, Nerf guns, Barbies, Paw Patrol toys, Play-Doh, kitchen sets, tool sets, superheroes and monster trucks. These are gifts that many children in our area wish to find under their tree this Christmas. If you can, please open your heart and make a donation. We will be accepting toys at our office until December 2. Thank you for your kindness!

On behalf of The West Virginia Daily News team, we wish you and your loved ones a Thanksgiving filled with love and cherished memories.
